Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017 - Covid-19 Regulatory Position Statement

This is a Regulatory Position Statement from UK regulators with respect to the Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017 (IRR17). The elements covered are:

1. Personal dosimetry arrangements (for example measurement period)
2. Medical surveillance – classified workers (for example appointment and requirements for medical or health review)
3. Testing of radiation monitoring instruments (for example the potential extension for 12 month annual testing)
4. Routine sealed source leak testing (for example an extension to wipe test requirements).
   

Generally you should comply if you can. If you cannot then you should be prepared to demonstrate why.
