New Radioactive Exemption Guidance 2018

August 2018 - Guidance on the scope of, and exemptions from, the radioactive substances legislation in the UK has been released by the UK Government. The document, title “Scope of and exemption from the radioactive substances legislation in England, Wales and Northern Ireland”, does not cover Scotland due to devolution. This document is essential for the regulator but also the end user as it will help determine if a permit is required under the Environmental Permitting (England & Wales) Regulations 2018 (EPR 2016).
