Higher energy transmission

The above data is found to be compatible with modern (IAEA / NCRP) data for high energy x-ray transmission in lead. From around 4-30 MV a TVL (10th value layer) for x-rays in lead is found to be 5.7 cm.

Physics is really nothing more than a search for ultimate simplicity, but so far all we have is a kind of elegant messiness
