The Atomic Archive has prepared a historical timeline which traces the nuclear age from (1895-2007), the discovery of x-rays and radioactivity and explosion of the first atomic bomb, through the cold war to its thaw, to the cleanup of the nuclear weapons complex. It is a very interesting read!
